How's my Hair? collects nothing. Your camera feed stays on your Mac and is never transmitted anywhere. There are no analytics, no crash reporters, no accounts, and no network connections of any kind.
The app requests access to your Mac's camera solely to display a live mirror on screen. The video feed is rendered locally and is never recorded, stored, uploaded, or shared with any third party, including Anthropic, Apple, or anyone else.
How's my Hair? does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, usage data, diagnostic data, or any other information. The app makes no network requests whatsoever.
The app requests camera permission (to show the mirror) and microphone permission (to display audio levels in the mirror UI). Neither the camera feed nor the audio is ever stored or transmitted.
If you download How's my Hair? from the Mac App Store, Apple's own privacy practices apply to that transaction. You can review Apple's privacy policy at apple.com/privacy. The app itself, once installed, makes no contact with Apple or any other server.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect it. Given there is no data to speak of, changes are unlikely.
